If you’re a resident of Washington or Idaho, you may have heard of Broad Form Insurance. You like the price tag that comes with it, but is this coverage the right choice for you? Make an informed decision!
What Is Broad Form Insurance?
Broad Form Insurance is auto insurance that only includes bare bones, state minimum coverage in Washington and Idaho.
Who Should Consider this Coverage?
Broad form works for just about anyone and comes in handy. This is especially true the more vehicles you have access to…owned or non-owned.
Things to Know:
Broad Form offers very limited coverage and isn’t for everyone.
- Broad Form only covers you. Others who drive your car aren’t covered.
- You will not be covered by insurance for any damage incurred to your vehicle in an at-fault accident.
- You can drive owned and non-owned vehicles for non-business use.
- You will not be covered by insurance when driving a non-traditional vehicle, like an RV, motorcycle or pickup over one ton.
