SR22 is required by the State of Washington to prove your financial responsibility. Unfortunately, you can’t get out of paying for an SR222 insurance policy, once your license has been suspended in Washington State.
SR22 Insurance in Washington is more expensive than your typical auto insurance policy, and it is considered high-risk coverage. If this is not fulfilled, the insurance company notifies the WA State department of Licensing to suspend the license.
